November 26, 2011 - Licensing with Jaguar Cars from 2012
I am especially pleased to finally be able to report about it: Autograph will officially receive permission by Jaguar Cars Limited in January 2012 to produce a Jaguar model. We are working on a 1/8 model of the Jaguar C-Type, Le Mans 24 Hours of 1951 winning car. First, a super-detailed metal kit of the legendary XK engine will be available, as it was part of the winning car from Le Mans 1951. All components of the engine kit are drawn, the prototype parts are made. The castings go straight into production. What's still missing are some photo etched parts and the instructions. May 05, 2011 - Fiat 500 in 1:8 available back soon?
There are rumours from italy, that production of the nice Fiat 500 model in 1:8 will soon being resumed again. Details are not yet known, but the tools seem being taken over from AMC by a successor. As soon as I hear any details, I will announce it here.

May 01, 2011 - New project takes shape!
As the contract negotiations with that automobile manufacturer from England, which built the 1:1 model of my new project, are still not completed, I can only show another screenshot of the new engine - all other details have to wait. One thing I can tell, however, already: it will start with a motor kit (full metal, super detailed), and if all goes as planned until the middle of next year, a complete model kit of the entire car will be ready. The plan is a body of thin metal, prepainted finish, so the annoying color work, at least for the body, is eliminated.


April 01, 2011 - New project in 1/8!
No April Fool: I don't want to reveal too much now, since I am still in Licensing negotiations - but I must show here a first screenshot of my new project in 1 / 8. It is a completely new kit in 1 / 8. The original car was a Le Mans winner in the 50s. The kit will be officially licensed from the Automobile manufacturer, and we intend to release initially a beautiful engine kit, fully made in metal. Later, once negotiations on the license are concluded, I will announce more details. Until then, please have a look at the (multicolored) drawing ...

January 02, 2010 - New hardware-detail-kit in sight!
A new edition of our hardware detail kit was due for quite some time! Now I've drawn two completely new platines with many new Photo Etched parts. Proceed in the coming days in production, so the new hardware detail kit will be available probably in February. Presumably it will also include brand new stainless steel hex screws, which are manufactured exclusively for Autograph!

November 22, 2007 - Complete decal set for the Rosso 643 F1 in scale 1/8!
When you build your old Rosso 643 kit, which has been stored for many years, you will find that most of the waterslide-decals are not usable anymore: they will crack, as soon as they get in touch with water! And the ugly original "sticker decals" will not hold long on the surface, where you placed them! Therefore we have drawn a complete new decal set for this model, including even more of the additional motifs of the Upgrade parts set. It is currently printed by the well known decal factory of Zanchetti in Milan (Italy) - the No. 1 for waterslide decals in Europe. Please watch this space for more informations - we will give you all informations, as soon as we have the prints in house!

January 01, 2007 - Price adjustment because of tax increase only starting from February!
Unfortunately we do not remain spared by the current developments in Germany: The increase of the value added tax from 16 to 19% does also not stop before the modelling business. Therefore we must adapt our prices, which we kept essentially constant during the last years. But we promise that we will not use the tax rise in order to implement hidden price increases. What we pass on, is the correct conversion of the three-percent increase of the tax on the old prices. With many kits, for example the 1/18 row, we completely do without a price adjustment! And additionally:

We only raise our prices on Feb. 01, 2007! Until that time we keep our old prices! So do not hesitate and order your new kits right now!:

May 30, 2006 - delivery of the GTO engine has begun!
What has lasted so long, finally reaches its end. From now on the GTO engine is on sale. This is the second, very important part of our complete transkit for the Revell GTO in scale 1/12. All Informations here!

May 03, 2006 - GTO engine kit finally finished!
I am proud to announce, that the long introduced GTO-engine in scale 1/12 was finally finished today! I want to translate the instructions into english language during this week, and then send it to my friend Marshall Buck (Creative Miniature Associates) for correction. March 16, 2006 - latest pictures of my GTO engine kit
Here are the latest pictures of my GTO-engine in 1/12. I had to completely rework the photoetched plates again, and some parts, like the fuel line (casted in brass and chromed). As soon as these new parts arrive, I will do the last pages of the instructions, and then this engine project will be finally finished!

October 13, 2004 - Porsche kits from Leggenda e Passione:
Today I received an E-Mail from Stefano of L & P with the following contents: ... on the occasion of recalculating the Porsche kits I unfortunately noticed, that we made a mistake when calculating and we deliver these kits under our own manufacture price. Therefore immediately substantially higher prices apply. I ask for understanding for this step - however we can sell these kits not further under price...

That unfortunately means an enormous price increase for these wonderful metal kits - only those of our customers can be pleased, which bought the Porsche engine in the past for relatively little money. Congratulations!

Actually I did not intend to make a new expenditure of our Transkit for the Pocher F40 - however the enormous demand, particularly from my customers in the Far East had changed my opinion: There will be a new release of 200 pieces! This time with the beautiful Speedline rims and some other improvements in relation to the last OZ series:

• Speedline rims (multipart), central locking hubs - with fine thread as with the original vehicle

• small, but important modifications within the engine range (e.g. intake manifold)...

• updated instructions in improved quality, now as a personal log book with owner list

• new, substantially better decals

• some break-endangered parts made of brass instead of white metal

• the Transkit comes now in a beautifully crafted wooden box

• and the best: no price increase in relation to the last series - price still Euro 1200.
  

Now you can select your desired serial-number (between 002 and 199): If you order your Transkit, tell us your desired number. We communicate to you then whether this number is still available. If you want to have your number reserved (possible up to 6 months), then you make a pre-payment of 10 % on the purchase price. This pre-payment is naturally taken into account with payment of the remainder - thus your reservation costs finally no cent!

April 04, 2004:
From today on you can place your orders for the GTO transkit and the Revell basis model: We split the entire project into three units: wheel set, engine kit and several body kits. First we produce the Borrani wheel set, which will be available in approx. 4 weeks time. Subsequently the GTO engine kit, which can be built into the Revell model or alternatively as a separate unit on an engine stand beside it. In the end the individual body kits for these versions will follow:

• GTO 3705 GT, 24 hours of Le Mans 1962 # 19
  

• GTO 3757 GT, 24 hours of Le Mans 1962 # 22
  

• GTO 4153 GT, 24 hours of Le Mans 1963 # 25
  

• GTO 4153 GT, Tour de France automobile 1964 # 172
  

• GTO 4293 GT, 24 hours of Le Mans 1962 # 24
  

• GTO 5111 GT, Tour de France automobile 1963 # 165
  
  

Each of these versions is limited to 250 copies. You can also from today on book the Revell basis model - however we will sell this model only together with our kits. The Borrani wheel set will likewise be availabel in the near future including the wonderful Dunlop Racing rubber tires, which Revell draws up on the GTO. So our Borrani wheels could be used also for other models in 1/12th scale.

After a relatively long period of time an urgently necessary actualization of my Website takes place: Among other things there are news concerning the GTO transkit, new resine kits in scale 1/12, the mystery around the framework illustrated below is solved, and and and...

Thus: Now everything in sequence: First of all this framework:



The connoisseurs among my customers found it out fast: It is a Jaguar C-type, winner of the 24 hours of Le Mans in the year 1951 (with drum brakes) and two years later with disc brakes. The winners of our small competition were:

• Rodrigo Soler from Mexico - he got an Autograph Hardware Detail Set

• Robert J. Powles from Australia - he received an Autograph Cable Set

This picture shows the Jaguar team briefly before the departure after Le Mans in the summer of 1951 - three running cars and a Bedford van for tires and tools. Two drivers and (!) one mechanic were assigned to each car. In addition there were the three team heads. Those start after Le Mans took place naturally on own axle - only Boss William Lyons followed in the airplane. With the start of the 24 hours the cars had then already some miles behind itself... I decided today, to communicate my second new development (beside that 250 GTO transkit ): I illustrate a part of it here:

The represented framework belongs to a sports car, which I will manufacture on a scale 1/8 complete model kit - this will be no Transkit! Please send me a short email, if you know, which car it is and particularly from which year exactly this framework comes! The first correct answer will be awarded with a detail set from me, consisting of a hardware superdetail kit and a cable set! Well, much fun when investigating!

November 15th 2003:
On the occasion of my attendance with Stefano Corsini of Leggenda e Passione in Milan I have brought home some interesting projects from Italy: Beside that engine for the Arno hydroplane, specified down, Leggenda e Passione possibly will do a further Ferrari twelve-cylinder: The 250 GT engine formed the basis engine for almost all GTs with the prancing horse in the sixties. A condition is however appropriate interest of customers! If you should be interested in such a machine, then send a short E-Mail to Autograph . With appropriate resonance I can surely convince Stefano to make e.g. a GTO engine in 1/8!
