We have been searching for it for a very
long time: the right braided wires to imitate the Aeroquip pressure tubes of many modern sports-
and racecars with the beautiful red and blue fittings. Finally we found it. Mainly in small
diameters the braiding of our old wires was too gross.

what is included? |
braided wire - fine (0,5 m) for making pressure hoses in diameters of 1 - 1,5 mm
braided wire - medium (0,5 m) for making pressure hoses in diameters of 2 - 2,5 mm
double braided wire - thick (2 x 0,5 m) for making pressure hoses in diameters of 3 - 5 mm - two braidings!
set of Aeroquip-fittings (white metal, see photos)
10 brass sleeves each, diameters 3 and 4 mm
1 m of black cable, diameter 0,6 mm
1 m of black cable, diameter 0,8 mm
1 m of black cabel, diameter 1,0 mm
1 m of red cable, diameter 1,0 mm (i. e. for ignition cables)

The white metal parts have to be drilled to fit the cables.

Cut a matching piece of braided
wire, the length should be a few centimeters longer than required. |
Pull out the inner core together
with the inner isolation. Use two pliers for this work! |
Now the braiding can be easily
pulled out of the outer isolation. |
So you get four various thick
braidings. |

You can easily modify our braided wires for the
use in your models: just put in different cores in various thicknesses - we suggest solder.
Besides the fact that you can easily bring it into shape, solder stays in this form. You will
learn to estimate this fact when you wire your model.
